The construction is completely self-supporting and does not require any concrete foundation which significantly reduces construction costs; it only needs to be settled on a compacted subgrade and backfilled with clean fill (no sharp stones or other objects). This pump station is truly versatile, as it can also be used as a small rainwater retention tank.
